The basic objective of the program is to provide a platform (something like Gurukul) for children to grow and become ideal citizens of the world. Swami Vivekanand profoundly promoted that the basic idea of education is to create a pathway from animality to humanity to divinity. This program aims to fulfill that dream of a great saint of Modern India.
There are five dimensions to life, viz, 1.Physical, 2.Emotional, 3.Psychological, 4.Intellectual, 5.Spiritual. Development in all these aspects of life will create a perfect and holistic human. PTW is designed to move towards that goal.
Moving from Information to Knowledge and from there to Experience and further to Wisdom (IKEW) is the path the institution will take to create this divine path. "Technological progress without spiritual foundation could be fatal to humanity" opined Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam(the ex-President of India and the eminent scientific philosopher of our age). DSPPL will provide that foundation.
The program will be run over next 10 years starting from 1st standard (age 9 years) equivalent to standard 4 in a conventional school in 2018. The levels of competence and excellence would keep on growing with the progressing standards to create a wonderful person. Every student going through this path will be empowered to handle his/her responsibilities towards the humanity and civilization by the age of 19 years.
The program will institute a sacred circle of balanced life by brining out 24 important virtues and values essential for human excellence.
Students will be offered a support like Counseling, help line, exercises, newsletters and other communication as well as personal guidance at the local level throughout a year by DSPPL.
The fees are inclusive of tuition fees, stay and food as well as all other incidentals related to the program.
