Why we started this Program named “Pathway to Wisdom”

 

Shri Ajit Telang Sir highly qualified, Corporate Consultant and successful Entrepreneur and was Director of 2 progressive and large companies. 25 years ago, after Swami's revelation, he decided to devote his energies and efforts for spiritual pursuits. On this mission, when he went to America in 2004, he witnessed very abnormal incident of an 8-year-old boy and his mother and he realized that this generation is different, something major shift in the human ascension has happened, which we have not yet understand. And if something is not done now, the future of mankind will be in the danger. This was then followed by the research about new generation.

The findings of the research based on more than 10,500 families of diversed background from different cities of India and America for over 8 years were very much shocking even for us. We then presented this research and findings in front of many doctors, neurologists, counsellors, judges, dignitaries in the field of education, big corporates and even officers of the Indian Army. And they also agreed with the characteristics of new generation which they were witnessing day in and out.

The current generation (born after 2000) have undergone major changes in genetic makeup, naturally affecting all five personality traits (or dimensions) of i.e. - physical, emotional, mental, intellectual and spiritual. As a result, there are 28 significant differences between the previous all human generations and this generation, the radical effect of which have started to be seen from family, to school, from corporate to government offices.

It is said that in the next few years, our country India is going to be the youngest country as the majority of our population will be below 30. But the issue is if this youth force is given the right direction, then it will be a boon. Otherwise, this advantage of having young population (an asset) will result into a liability for the country. Out of the 28 characteristic traits of this new generation – if we consider only 4 traits i.e. emotional imbalance, fickleness of mind, uncontrollable imagination, and extreme aggression, then this is sufficient enough to create a havoc in the society. To avoid this all, here is our effort of providing right direction to this previous energy force!

Honestly, we don't want smart kids. Smart phones, smart TVs are fine. Let this smartness be restricted to equipment only. We need “wise” and prudent children. To achieve that, we have designed this Program named "Pathway To Wisdom"

Brief History of “Pathway To Wisdom” Program

 

From the year 2012, residential camps were started in Swami Samarth Math at Devrukh Ratnagiri. A total of 2 camps of 30 children each were started during the summer vacations. The overall response and most importantly the positive change in the children, resulting in happiness in the family as a whole, gave all our sadhaks further energy to conduct such camps. From Maharashtra and many cities in Gujarat, as well as from Bangalore, Hyderabad and even Delhi, parents started sending their children with great enthusiasm. A corporate company was then formed to keep the philosophy of spirituality at the fore in all matters, "that service can be supreme even in material things". We are all professionals CA, CS, Computer Expert, Psychiatrist and proficient in our respective fields. However, this organization created to do something good for the society!

Soon these camps completed 10 years in 2022. Even during the Corona period, online camps were conducted. But it is difficult to accommodate more than 30 children at a time in Devrukh Math, and parents have to bring and drop their children to Devrukh, their vacations, and travel expenses on top of that. Considering all these aspects, then from Diwali 2022 we started "Non Residential" camps in different cities.

The objective of “pathway to Wisdom” Program

 

"Character Building" is the main objective of this program. We wish that the child who learns from our camp should be virtuous, knowledgeable, prudent, and not only support his family but also the society in the future in terms of his conduct and energy! Today's innocent child, will be transformed into tomorrow's capable youth and then into the wise adult. This is our effort for holistic development of his personality in all five dimensions like physical, emotional, mental, intellectual and spiritual. He can pursue any educational qualifications. Nut before that he should be a good human being. That’s all what we want. Hence these efforts.

There are scientific reasons for starting camps and EduSPOTS centers from an early age. Modern science suggests that by the age of 6, almost 85% of the human brain has already been developed. The beginning of the development of the mind, the more powerful Surya Nadi getting activity, and the physical effect of the hormones due to the activation of pituitary gland, it is necessary to give proper guidance to the children at the beginning of their formation years. In earlier times, at this age child used to be sent to Guru. And the Guru used to "initiate" them. The word used in Sanskrit is “Diksha” The word Diksha means - Dik (meaning direction) + Sha (meaning intellect).

Daily routine of EduSPOTS centers

 

Our EduSPOTS center will work with the motto "TAPASYA". The first step on the pathway to wisdom!

TAPASYA stands for -

• T = Thought of the Day
• A = Activity
• P = Prayer
• A = Abhyas Katha (Moral Story)
• S = Stotra
• Y = Yoga
• A = Abhyas (Home work)

So daily children will come to EduSPOTS center. The first thing to do is the national anthem. Then a prayer, followed by the Stotra. Then it is story time. We will tell him a nice story with a moral, will conduct an activity (song, drama, or game), we will discuss about a good thought, will do some yoga, and then will break after giving a homework.

Our center will work to create a nice nurturing environment.

Teachers in EduSPOTS Centers

The teachers at the EduSPOTS center are basically sadhaks from Shri Swami Samarth Devrukh Math. They will be running these EduSPOTS as a mission. For them, this center is another experiment to further their sadhana in the company of the little angels. So instead of teaching, it is more of a sharing of love and happiness. And to do so, the tool is "TAPASYA" as explained above.

EduSPOTS Centers Period and Fees

Considering the total cost for running the center Fees or investment for your child shall be as under

EduSPOTS (Age 5 to 8 years) - 17th April to 16th May 2024 (Sunday Off) – Fee Rs. 500/-
