Empowerment for Parenting Initiative and Challenges

The basic objective of the program is to provide a platform (something like Gurukul) for children to grow and become ideal citizens of the world. Swami Vivekanand profoundly promoted that the basic idea of education is to create a pathway from animality to humanity to divinity. This program aims to fulfill that dream of a great saint of Modern India.

Why EPIC is needed?

The need has arisen due to the fact that the newer generations (reportedly born after 1980) are showing different personality traits never shown before. It has already taken more than 30 years for people to realize that some structural changes have occurred in human DNAs around 1980. This was earlier passed on as Generation Gap. The research worldwide including the research conducted by us has showed that the changes are more than the generation gap and it is a structural gap. In the earlier times this change was not substantial and was not so abrupt as compared to the current change. We had ideas about such changes as we all had undergone such changes and had adapted to them. This was possible as there was enough knowledge and experience about such a phenomenon. Secondly there were references from the past to bank upon. The new structural changes do not have that kind of knowledge base for the earlier generations to have any clues to manage situations at home and society.

The structural changes have reportedly changes the levels of consciousness at various faculties of human existence. On the intellectual level, these generations are very advanced especially when it comes to deeper understanding of electro-magnetic phenomena. Their intellectual Quotient is extremely high with respect to earlier generations. However this seems to have caused some kind of lopsidedness as the members of these generations do not show the mental agilities and emotional sensitivities of the earlier generations. The data that we have collected shows a highly skewed pattern. These children seem to have more individualistic approach towards life than societal.

The Challenges ahead

The increasing crime rates at very young age, the suicides, anti-establishment violent movements, accidents and marital break-ups in different societies all over the world are good indicators to show how the change is affecting the society at large. The human civilization has a family system as its core. With family values changing fast and wide across the world the civilization is likely to counter a huge challenge to sustain the basic core.

The major challenge will be posed in front of scientific community as well as governing bodies. These children reportedly do not fit themselves in the age old tested and proven systems like Legal system and the new sets of laws more tolerant towards their mind set and behavior may need to be drafted. The Indian government has already passed a bill in parliament to alter the age of juvenile criminals from 18 years to 16 years. Incarcerated children have been a big issue in front of developed countries like USA. Medically speaking the immunity of these children seem to be much lesser than earlier generations and the existing drug molecules do not offer effective results. As a result many diseases which were declared as eradicated earlier have started reappearing in many developing and under developed economies. The education system that was based on the traits of the earlier generations do not appear to suit the newer generations and some drastic measures may have to be taken. This tantamount to inventing new systems in various fields. The earlier generations fitted into the slots created by systems established over 26000 years. To create new systems is going to be a daunting task in front of the generations to come. One can expect the turbulence of some kind which is going to be a challenging situation.

Founder Member of the Group: Mr. Ajit Telang
Spiritual Scientist, Management Consultant and Chief Faculty

Mr. Ajit Telang, started a firm Synergesic immediately after he acquired 10 years of experience in Indian Industry in senior positions in the areas of Corporate Marketing and Business Planning. Mr. Ajit Telang basically has a Post graduate Degree in Chemistry with a specialization in the subject of Nuclear & Radio Chemistry from University of Mumbai. He also has a Post graduate Degree in Marketing Management (M.M.M) from the prestigious institution Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies with a top rank to his credit.

Having worked with the reputed business groups like TATAs and Mafatlals in his career spread over 10 years, he started on his own with Synergesic. Mr. Telang has a wide experience in diversified industrial fields like Metal finishing, Instrumentation, Petrochemicals, Scientific Instruments and Aromatic chemicals. Mr. Telang was on advisory panels of IDBI, ICICI and IFCI for some years. He was also the Managing Director of Synertech Projects Consultancy Pvt Ltd and Marketing Director of Golden Age Software Technologies Pvt Ltd. Both these companies were highly esteemed in their fields of operations in 1990s. His concepts of BIZISPOTS and Golden Package in late eighties created revolution in the field of Information Technologies.

Mr. Telang has widely traveled all over the world visiting countries like USA, Switzerland, UK, Germany and Singapore and was instrumental in getting some sunrise technologies to Indian markets. He has also developed certain business models like Integrated Directional Policy Matrix (IDPM) for taking decisions on diversifications and mergers/acquisitions as well as Joint Marketing Production Plan (JMPP) which were published in Business journals and The Economic Times.

Mr. Telang is one of the senior most Reiki Masters in the country and has been teaching Reiki since 1997. He has founded Reiki Vidya Niketan in 1998 which today has 17 branches in India and 7 training centres in USA which have produced more than 30,000 students proficient in Reiki healing. He has been conducting programs on Corporate and social trainings for Synergesic. He has been instrumental in conceiving various concepts and new business designs.

Mr. Telang has been a prolific writer and has penned many books on spiritual dimensions of management of life Rainbow in the Heart, Mirages and Oasis, Lamp unto Your self and Essence of Spirituality are some of the titles which are extremely popular and have been translated in various languages in India. He also delivers lectures under Interfaith program conducted by North Eastern Illinois University in Chicago, USA since 2005. He is a major driving force behind Synergesic activities.

Ms. Krupa Choksi
Management Consultant, Company Secretary, Reiki Master and Faculty

Ms. Krupa Choksi is a young dynamic M.B.A. in Marketing from G. H. Patel Institute of Business Management, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar with a top rank to her credit. Ms. Choksi is also a practicing Company Secretary.

Ms. Choksi has been working in the Corporate world since August 2000 and has worked with some of the prestigious business groups like Alembic, Cadilla, Jewel Brushes, Nahak Overseas, etc. She has been involved in International Market Research for past 5 years.

Ms. Choksi has been handling International Assignments for BPO/KPO Companies as well as Accounting Outsourcing Assignments of Foreign Clients. Besides this, she has been involved in Brand promotion and business development assignments of Indian clients. Ms Choksi is also currently a promoter of Devrukh Art Creative Community – a social project for uplifting the rural artistes.

Ms Choksi has been involved with Synergesic’s corporate training activities since year 2005 till she took over as a CEO and Managing Partner in the firm. Ms Choksi is Reiki Master and has been teaching Reiki in India and abroad since 2013. She is also heading the Social training activities of Reiki Vidya Niketan.

Ms Choksi has been a regular faculty on EPIC Parenting program as well as Teachers’ Training Programs and has conducted more than 50 sessions on these subjects. She also conducts various training programs in USA in various centres like Chicago, New Jersey, Boston, California, Austin and Huston.

Ms. Choksi is also a prolific writer and writes articles on various dimensions of life. She is also a co-author of a book titled 28 Personality Traits in new Generation as well as Holistic Personality Development. She has also completed her certificate course in Yellow belt 6 sigma.

Ms. Ashwini Telang,
Psychologist (Clinical) and Faculty

Ms. Ashwini Telang is a Post Graduate in Clinical Psychology working on various assignments related to behavioural research and motivation. She has also completed her Diploma in Transactional Analysis from Stonebridge Associated Colleges, UK besides a Diploma in Industrial Psychology from Stonebridge Associated Colleges in UK. Besides she has already been trained in the subjects of Self Awareness, Personal effectiveness & Psychodrama, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Mind and Memory improvement, Substance Abuse and De-addiction, Pre-marital counseling and Communication skills with Patients.

Worked with Avishkar Psychiatric Clinic, Dadar, Mumbai under Dr. Nirmala Rao, eminent Psychiatrist (between September 2009 and July 2010) Worked as Intern under world’s renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Yusuf Matcheswala at Masina Hospital, and J.J. Hospital, Mumbai.

She also conducts assessment of candidates for employment using Aptitude Tests and Personality Factors. Currently she is also working on establishing a Cognitive process in buyer behaviour.

Ms. Telang has been involved in various Projects and has been assisting SOME training Program series for the past 7 years. She has also been involved in various social research projects. Ms. Telang is currently a faculty on EPIC Parenting Empowerment programs as well as Teachers’ Training Programs, Youth Empowerment Programs and looks into the psychological dimensions of human life relationships. Ms. Telang has also developed a psychological model of revised Maslow’s Hierarchy of human evolution, a revolutionary theory to explain the behavioural changes in the new generation children. She has also completed her certificate course in Yellow belt 6 sigma.

She has been prolific writer having published articles in Psychology in journals like PsyInsight and a poet having penned many articles and poems published at various magazines and newsletters. She is also a co-author of a book titled 28 Personality Traits in new Generation and Holistic Personality Development.
