Ray has been a guidance counselor for the past 38 years and recently retired from education in June 2018. He has been fortunate enough to make some great relationships in the Barrington area and decided that once he retired that he wanted to give back to the families and community which have become such a great part of his life. Right out of college he worked at Gordan Technical High School then moved on to Fenwick High School and finally St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago before he spent 32 years at Barrington High School as a guidance counselor.

One of his passions is working with the Dakota tribe in South Dakota. He created a program where he would bring BHS students out the reservation for a week so they could immerse themselves in the Dakota tribes and learn their rich history. Ray incorporates much of the Dakota’s spiritual teachings into his everyday life which brings him much needed balance when working with suicide prevention.

He is also a founder member of HOPE House project to save the teenagers from committing suicide. He has been in the 220 school district for 32 years so he knows the community; he knows the stresses and triggers that exist in our neighborhood.

Trained in USA, India and Sri Lanka, Dr. Rathner established his practice in southern Poland in 2009 following ten years as a therapist in the jails and prisons of Los Angeles and southern California.

Having seen the results of lives gone very wrong as exemplified by the inmates of USA jails and prisons, he was able to upgrade my training in 'structural family therapy' to apply to all persons, not just those in traditional family settings.

The result is a 'brand' of therapy that allows for rather quick improvements and with wonderful results especially in areas of addiction, sleep dysfunction, depression and abuse.

The 'networking' component, furthermore, allows maximum growth and improvement in all therapeutic millieu, be they individuals, couples, families or businesses/organizations.

Dr. Rathner is also a Certified Homa Therapy teacher residing at Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya, the base from which he propagates the sunrise/sunset copper pyramid healing fire, Agnihotra as the core of Homa Psychotherapy.

Ms. Riddhi is a Post Graduate in Clinical Psychology from SNDT University, India. Besides, she has been trained in RE & CBT (both - Primary and Advance level) from Albert Ellis Institute, New York as well as in International Primary Practicum in Single Session Therapy by Prof. Windy Dryden.

She has been working in the field of Psychology since 7 years with some of the organizations like Cerebra Braintech (as Clinical Psychologist) and Aishabai Fazlani Trust (as School Psychologist). Ms. Riddhi has been conducting various Individual Sessions, Self-help workshops, Webinars on various psychological topics and Group Therapy Sessions like Secrets to a happy life; Dealing with “Log Kya Kahenge?”; Developing Anti-anxiety toolkit; Developing Anti- depression toolkit; Dealing with stammering & stuttering; Life skills programs; Preventive Workshops to develop resilience and Inner strength in children. She has also done Training Workshops on Basic Level - REBT & CBT; Advance Level RE-CBT as well as Basic Counseling skills.

Currently, she is the Director and Psychotherapist in Psychoknowmics Counseling and Education Services.

Ms. Ashwini Telang is a Post Graduate in Clinical Psychology working on various assignments related to behavioural research and motivation. She has also completed her Diploma in Transactional Analysis from Stonebridge Associated Colleges, UK besides a Diploma in Industrial Psychology from Stonebridge Associated Colleges in UK. Besides she has already been trained in the subjects of Self Awareness, Personal effectiveness & Psychodrama, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Mind and Memory improvement, Substance Abuse and De-addiction, Pre-marital counseling and Communication skills with Patients. She worked with Avishkar Psychiatric Clinic, Dadar, Mumbai under Dr Nirmala Rao, eminent Psychiatrist and as Intern Ms. Ashwini has worked under world's renowned Psychiatrist Dr Yusuf Matcheswala at Masina Hospital, and J.J. Hospital, Mumbai.

Ms Ashwini is currently a faculty on EPIC Parenting Empowerment programs as well as Teachers' Training Programs, Youth Empowerment Programs and looks into the psychological dimensions of human life relationships. She has also developed a psychological model of revised Maslow's Hierarchy of human evolution, a revolutionary theory to explain the behavioural changes in the new generation children. Ms. Ashwini is the Director and Psychologist in DSPPL. Besides, she has also authored books titled as Holistic Parenting and Holistic Personality Development for youth. Her title Maslow’s Theory Upside Down is under process.
